This is one of the most popular of Prudence’s collection for men. The inspiration for it was born in Italy, with Augusto being the name of the Roman Emperor who installed himself on the beautiful island of Capri. More personally, the name for the fragrance is dedicated to Marchese Mario Augusto di Prima, last in line of a noble Venetian family. A long-time friend, he gave Prudence permission to use his name and his coat of arms on her bottle. The composition is a fitting tribute to his gesture with classic head notes of citron and bergamot that give way to a heart of woody notes, almond and tonka bean. The final dry down is a rich mixture of patchouli, musk and vetiver that rounds out this Oriental/Woody.
How to Use
- Like any fragrance, use one or two sprays around your neck and on your pulse points (areas where the body is warmer, such as the wrists, ankles, inside the elbows and behind the knees) from a minimum distance of 6 inches, then allow to dry without rubbing.
